Golf lovers rejoice!
Hunterdon County is an excellent place for challenging golf courses for players of all skill levels. Tee off on one of these great courses to start your golf adventure.

The Architects Golf Club
The Architects Golf Club was created to pay tribute to great designers in the world of golf. Golf course architect Stephen Kay and Golf Digest historian Ron Whitten handpicked the premier architects for the period between 1885 and 1955. The Architects Golf Club is a 6,863-yard, par 71 gem, featuring holes patterned after other great names including Walter Travis, A W Tillinghast, Bill Flynn, and Donald Ross to mention a few. www.thearchitectsclub.com

Beaver Brook Country Club
The Beaver Brook Country Club is a semi-private golf club with a course open to the public. Rolling hills of green with towering trees and strategically placed sand bunkers make a picturesque yet challenging course. www.beaverbrookcc.com

Heron Glen Golf Course
Ranked in the "Top 35 New Public Golf Courses Opened in 2002" by Golf Magazine, Heron Glen Golf Club is the course you'll call home in Hunterdon County. Try hole #16 as this is the most intimidating hole on the 18-hole golf course. Standing on the tee you encounter a 30-yard-wide uphill fairway and a couple of sand bunkers. Par 72, 7,065 yards. www.heronglen.com/

High Bridge Hills Golf Club
Home to championship golf in the British-Irish tradition, our par 71, 6,700-yard course provides golfers an authentic true links layout on spectacular terrain overlooking the beautiful Spruce Run Reservoir. Elevation changes are aplenty, including the dramatic par 3, 8th hole with a tee-to-green drop of nearly 100 feet over a natural gorge. A darling of golfers and the press alike, High Bridge Hills has emerged as Northern New Jersey's best true links course.

Hawk Pointe Golf Club
18-hole championship golf course. Designed by Kelly Blake Moran, this course offers four sets of tees enabling golfers of all abilities to enjoy the course. The golf course is designed as a "core" layout with both nines returning to the clubhouse and is routed through rolling terrain along and through wooded hedgerows. Bent grass is being used for tees, fairways, and greens providing the highest quality playing surfaces. www.hawkpointegolf.com
